by the Board of Trade of Clause 5 (b) of the Ordinance, I

am informed that as a matter of fact junks over 150 feet

in length are never seen in Hongkong waters. As regards

other ships over this length which when at anchor carry

two white lights in accordance with the collision regula-

-tions enacted by Orders-in-Council, it scarcely appears

necessary to further legislate to safeguard those respons-

-ible for distinguishing at night such stationary vessels

from junks under way.
